Day One
OK...My journey starts today. I just can't call it a diet, that is such a depressing word! It's my last day of Spring Break, so I am spending it planning meals and getting things ready for lunches and dinners. That has always been my downfall - lack of planning. I'm soooo rushed in the mornings, because of my kids me. I will admitt it, I am not a moring person, my snooze button is my best friend. So I usually end up walking running out the door without my lunch and eating lunch at school. And lets face it y'all, as wonderful as the lunch ladies are at my school, they just dont have a lot to work with. So school lunch is not a dieter's friend!
Goal 1: Get up with my 5am alarm (maybe allow myself one snooze)
Goal 2: Eat breakfast
Goal 3: Prepare my lunch at home
Goal 4: Walk Mon., Wed. (when I don't have a faculty meeting) & Fri.
Goal 5: Snack on fruits and veggies (I cringe)
5 goals...I can do this. (I can do this, I can do this, I can do this)
Breakfast - Egg beaters Muffin
- small container of Egg Beaters
- 100 calorie English muffin
- Half a slice of Borden's Grilled Cheese Melts
